My water heater is making a rumbling noise. What does that mean?
A rumbling or popping noise usually means sediment has built up on the bottom of the tank. It can reduce efficiency and eventually damage the heater. We'll flush the tank and assess how much life is left in the unit.
How long does a water heater last?
Most tank water heaters last 10 to 15 years. If yours is over 10 years old and starting to have issues, we'll give you an honest assessment of whether repair or replacement makes more sense for your situation.
What should I do if I have a burst pipe?
Turn off your main water shutoff immediately. Then call us — we're available 24/7 for emergencies. We'll walk you through what to do until we arrive.
Can you fix a slow drain without chemicals?
Yes. We use mechanical drain clearing — not store-bought chemicals that can damage pipes. We clear the blockage properly and let you know if there's an underlying issue.
Do I need a permit for a water heater replacement?
In Edmonton, most water heater replacements require a permit. We handle the permit process and arrange the required inspection as part of the job.
